For a feminist who rails against the "feminists hate men" stereotype, she seems quite eager and willing to uphold a "gay men hate women" stereotype. I can't even fathom this as being remotely true. After reading this essay I really lost respect for the author, and only just skimmed briefly through the last essay a confusing one about how lesbians and women aren't part of phallocratic societies, therefore they don't exist.

I really wouldn't recommend this book to anybody, unless they had to read it for a women's studies course. In that case I'd ask them to read it with a very skeptical and questioning mind.
